Following the success of the first series, this summer sees Superdrug and the River Group launch a second season of its popular podcast, The Beauty Of It All. With 8 bumper episodes covering key topics such as environmentalism, inclusivity and body dysmorphia, this new season will delve even deeper into popular issues and areas of the beauty industry that matter most to listeners. Last year, the podcast hit number 1 in the iTunes Fashion and Beauty charts, with the audience tuning in week after week to discover more about their favourite celebrities and beauty industry favourites.
This year’s series is hosted by TV and radio presenter, Vick Hope, who brings together a panel of industry experts and top celebrity names to discuss a different theme each episode.
The first 4 episodes of the season are already available to download now, including the launch episode which explores and celebrates what Pride means to prominent members of the LGBTQ+ community Brian Dowling, Kenny Ethan Jones, Blu Hydrangea and Adele Roberts.
Upcoming episodes include a discussion around the skin positivity movement with Love Island alumni Olivia Bowen, who is passionate about sharing her skin journey online, and a revealing conversation with Georgie Shore star Holly Hagan about her own experience with body dysmorphia.
A new episode will be available each Sunday, and can be found on popular podcast outlets, Acast, Apple and Spotify.
Superdrug’s Commercial Director, Simon Comins, says “We are really excited to be launching a second season of our chart topping podcast, The Beauty Of It All. We always listen to our customers’ needs and are so pleased to be bringing them a season packed with information and expert knowledge around the topics that matter most to them.”
